Surah Maryam

The True Story of Jesus and Mary

A Qur’anic account of Maryam and Isa, peace be upon them

16 (O Prophet,) mention Maryam in this Book. Especially remember the time when she withdrew from her family and took shelter in a place toward the east.
17 Then she placed a screen between herself and them. I sent to her My Ruh, Jibril, and he appeared before her in the form of a complete human being.
Explanation: Here, “My Ruh” refers to the angel Jibril. It does not mean a part of Allah, nor does it mean a son of Allah.
18 She said, “O stranger, if you fear Allah, then I seek refuge from you with the Most Merciful.”
19 He said, “I am only a messenger from your Lord. I have come to give you the news of a pure son.”
Explanation: The messenger himself was not the giver of the child. He came with the command and message from Allah.
20 She said, “What are you saying! How can I have a son when no man has ever touched me, and I have never been unchaste?”
21 He said, “Yes, it will be so. Your Lord says, ‘That is very easy for Me.’ I will make him a sign for people and a mercy from Me. And this was a matter already decreed.”
Explanation: The birth of Isa, peace be upon him, without a father was a sign of Allah’s power. It does not mean that he was the son of Allah. Rather, he was Allah’s creation, servant, and prophet.
22 Then she conceived him and withdrew with him to a distant place.
23 Then the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a date-palm tree. She said, “If only I had died before this and had been completely forgotten!”
24 Then a caller from beneath her called out, “Do not grieve, O Maryam. Your Lord has placed a stream beneath you.”
25 “Shake the trunk of the date-palm toward yourself; it will drop fresh, ripe dates upon you.”
Explanation: According to this verse of the Qur’an, Isa, peace be upon him, was born when fresh dates were available. This shows that the popular claim of 25th December is not based on the Qur’anic account.
26 “So eat, drink, and cool your eyes. Then, if you see any human being, say, ‘I have vowed a fast to the Most Merciful, so today I will not speak to any person.’”
Explanation: In that earlier law, remaining silent could be a form of vow or worship. Maryam, peace be upon her, was told not to answer people’s accusations herself, but to leave the matter to Allah’s sign.
27 Then she came back to her people carrying him in her arms. They said, “O Maryam, you have certainly done a strange and shocking thing!”
28 “O sister of Harun, your father was not an evil man, nor was your mother an unchaste woman.”
Explanation: The phrase “sister of Harun” refers to her lineage, religious identity, or righteous family connection. It does not mean that she was the direct biological sister of Prophet Harun, the brother of Musa, peace be upon them.
29 Then she pointed toward him, as if to say: if you have anything to ask, ask this child. They said, “How can we speak to a baby who is still in the cradle?”
30 Then the child spoke: “Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Book and made me a prophet.”
Explanation: Isa, peace be upon him, first introduced himself as “the servant of Allah.” He did not say that he was the son of Allah.
31 “And He has made me blessed wherever I may be. He has commanded me to establish prayer and give zakat as long as I remain alive.”
32 “And He has made me dutiful to my mother. He has not made me arrogant or disobedient.”
33 “Peace was upon me the day I was born, peace will be upon me the day I die, and peace will be upon me the day I am raised back to life.”
34 This is Isa, the son of Maryam. This is the true statement about which they dispute.
35 They say that he is the son of Allah, but it is not for Allah to take a son. Glory be to Him! When He decides a matter, He only says to it, “Be,” and it comes into existence.
Explanation: The command “Be” shows Allah’s unlimited power. It does not refer to any physical process or human-like birth.
36 “Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him alone. This is the straight path.”
Explanation: Isa, peace be upon him, himself declared that Allah is his Lord and the Lord of everyone. Therefore, he is the servant and prophet of Allah, not Allah and not the son of Allah.
37 Then the groups differed among themselves regarding him. So destruction is for those who disbelieve when they witness the great Day.
Explanation: This points to the different disputes and wrong beliefs that people later developed regarding Isa, peace be upon him.
38 How clearly they will hear and how clearly they will see on the Day they come to Me! But today the wrongdoers are in clear misguidance.
39 O Prophet, warn them about the Day of Regret, when the matter will be finally decided. Yet now they are in heedlessness, and they do not believe.
Explanation: The “Day of Regret” means the Day of Judgment, when people will see the consequences of their negligence and wrong decisions in this world.
40 Surely, I alone will inherit the earth and everyone upon it, and to Me they will all be returned.
The Qur’an honors Maryam and Isa, peace be upon them, while clearly teaching that Isa was a servant and messenger of Allah.

Surah Al-Ma’idah: 116–118

Jesus’ Conversation with Allah on the Day of Judgment

116 And remember when Allah will say:

Allah will say: “O Isa, son of Maryam! Did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as two gods besides Allah’?”
Isa will say: “Glory be to You! It was not proper for me to say something for which I had no right. If I had said such a thing, You would certainly have known it. You know what is within me, but I do not know what is within Your knowledge. Surely, You alone are the All-Knower of the unseen.”

117 Isa, peace be upon him, will continue:

“I said nothing to them except what You commanded me to say: Worship Allah, who is my Lord and your Lord. As long as I remained among them, I was a witness over them. Then when You raised me up, You were the Watcher over them. And You are Witness over all things.”
Explanation: Isa, peace be upon him, is clearly saying here that he did not call people to worship himself; rather, he called them to worship Allah. He declared Allah to be his Lord and the Lord of all people.

118 Isa, peace be upon him, will say:

“If You punish them, then they are surely Your servants. And if You forgive them, then surely You are the Almighty, the All-Wise.”
Explanation: Isa, peace be upon him, will leave the final decision about his followers to Allah. He will not claim any independent power to save anyone from Allah’s punishment.
On the Day of Judgment, Isa, peace be upon him, will clearly declare that he called people only to worship Allah — his Lord and the Lord of all mankind.
Important Questions and Answers

What Does the Qur’an Say About Jesus?

A clear collection of Qur’anic answers about Isa, son of Maryam, peace be upon him, the oneness of Allah, and the message of true worship.

1 “Do not say: Three” — The Answer to Trinity
Surah An-Nisa 4:171

O People of the Book! Do not go beyond the limits in your religion, and do not say anything about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Isa, son of Maryam, was only a messenger of Allah, His word which He conveyed to Maryam, and a Ruh from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, “Three.” Stop doing so; that is better for you. Surely Allah is only One God. He is far too pure to have a son. Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth belongs to Him. And Allah is sufficient as the Disposer of all affairs.

2 Isa Never Refuses to Be a Servant of Allah
Surah An-Nisa 4:172

The Messiah never refuses to be a servant of Allah, nor do the angels who are close to Allah. And whoever refuses to worship Him and becomes arrogant, He will gather them all to Himself.

3 The Answer to the Claim: “Allah is the Messiah”
Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:17

Surely they have disbelieved who say, “Allah is the Messiah, son of Maryam.” Say, if Allah wanted to destroy the Messiah, son of Maryam, his mother, and everyone on earth, then who would have any power against Allah? To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens, the earth, and everything between them. He creates whatever He wills. And Allah has power over all things.

4 Isa Himself Said: “Allah is My Lord and Your Lord”
Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:72

Surely they have disbelieved who say, “Allah is the Messiah, son of Maryam.” But the Messiah himself said, “O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, who is my Lord and your Lord.” Surely whoever associates partners with Allah, Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and his home will be the Fire. And the wrongdoers will have no helpers.

5 The Answer to the Claim: “Allah is One of Three”
Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:73

Surely they have disbelieved who say, “Allah is one of three.” But there is no god except One God. If they do not stop saying what they say, then a painful punishment will surely touch those among them who disbelieve.

6 The Door of Repentance Is Open
Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:74

Will they not turn to Allah in repentance and seek His forgiveness? And Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.

7 The Messiah Was a Messenger; He and His Mother Both Ate Food
Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:75

The Messiah, son of Maryam, was nothing more than a messenger. Many messengers had passed away before him. His mother was a truthful woman. Both of them used to eat food. Look how I make the signs clear for them; then look how they are turned away.

8 Isa Never Said: “Take Me and Maryam as Gods”
Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:116

And when Allah will say, “O Isa, son of Maryam! Did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as two gods besides Allah’?” He will say, “Glory be to You! It was not proper for me to say something for which I had no right. If I had said it, You would certainly have known it. You know what is within me, but I do not know what is within Your knowledge. Surely, You alone are the All-Knower of the unseen.”

9 The Real Message of Isa
Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:117

“I said nothing to them except what You commanded me to say: Worship Allah, who is my Lord and your Lord. As long as I remained among them, I was a witness over them. Then when You raised me up, You were the Watcher over them. And You are Witness over all things.”

10 The Humble Surrender of Isa
Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:118

“If You punish them, then they are surely Your servants. And if You forgive them, then surely You are the Almighty, the All-Wise.”

11 The Answer to the Miraculous Birth of Isa
Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:59

Surely the example of Isa before Allah is like the example of Adam. He created him from dust, then He said to him, “Be,” and he came into existence.

12 Prophets Do Not Call People to Worship Themselves
Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:79

It is not possible for a human being that Allah gives him the Book, wisdom, and prophethood, and then he says to the people, “Become my servants instead of Allah.” Rather, he would say, “Become people devoted to the Lord, because you teach the Book and because you study it.”

13 Prophets Do Not Tell People to Take Angels or Prophets as Lords
Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:80

And he would never command you to take the angels and the prophets as lords. Would he command you to disbelief after you have submitted to Allah?

14 Calling the People of the Book Toward One Allah
Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:64

Say, O People of the Book! Come to a common word between us and you: that we worship none except Allah, that we do not associate anything with Him, and that none of us takes others as lords besides Allah. Then if they turn away, say, “Bear witness that we are those who submit to Allah.”

15 The Prohibition of Exaggeration in Religion
Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:77

Say, O People of the Book! Do not go beyond the limits in your religion unjustly. And do not follow the desires of those people who went astray before, led many others astray, and deviated from the straight path.

16 Allah Has No Son
Surah Al-An’am 6:101

He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He has no wife? He created everything, and He has complete knowledge of all things.

17 The Answer to the Claim: “Allah Has Taken a Son”
Surah Yunus 10:68

They say, “Allah has taken a son.” Glory be to Him! He is free of all need. Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth belongs to Him. You have no proof for this claim. Are you saying about Allah what you do not know?

18 Warning to Those Who Say Allah Has Taken a Son
Surah Al-Kahf 18:4–5

And to warn those who say, “Allah has taken a son.” They have no knowledge of this, nor did their forefathers. How terrible is the word that comes out of their mouths! They say nothing but a lie.

19 If There Were Another God with Allah, There Would Be Disorder
Surah Al-Mu’minun 23:91

Allah has not taken any son, and there is no god with Him. If there were, then each god would have taken away what he created, and some of them would have tried to dominate others. Glory be to Allah above what they say.

20 There Is No Partner in His Kingdom
Surah Al-Furqan 25:2

He is the One to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He has not taken any son, and He has no partner in His kingdom. He created everything and determined it with perfect measure.

21 Isa Was a Servant of Allah
Surah Az-Zukhruf 43:59

He was only a servant upon whom I bestowed favor, and I made him an example for the Children of Israel.

22 The Real Statement of Isa
Surah Az-Zukhruf 43:63–64

And when Isa came with clear proofs, he said, “I have come to you with wisdom, and to make clear to you some of the matters in which you differ. So fear Allah and obey me. Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him alone. This is the straight path.”

23 The Final Declaration of Allah’s Oneness
Surah Al-Ikhlas 112:1–4

Say: He is Allah, One. Allah is Self-Sufficient. He neither gives birth, nor was He born. And there is none comparable to Him.

The Qur’an honors Isa, son of Maryam, peace be upon him, while clearly declaring that he was a servant and messenger of Allah — and that Allah alone deserves worship.

For The Love of Jesus

For The Love of Jesus:

Jesus truly loved his people. He dedicated his life to the ultimate well-being of humanity. However, does Jesus get the love he deserves in return?
Did Jesus ever claim to be God? Did you try to find the truth about him? If you claim to love Jesus, should not you learn what he really preached and wanted mankind to follow? (Learn more in find peace tab)

The Pursuit of Happiness and Purpose:

Thousands of christians have discovered the truth about Jesus and God. But how so? They have listened to their heart. The heart that God has created to obey its Creator. The heart can find peace and happiness only in realizing its true purpose. The purpose is not to live a mundane life and die one day. The purpose is to get to know God and follow God’s commandments. The God of Jesus the messenger.

God is Waiting for You to Come Back:

God is the Most Merciful and Most Benevolent. God knows when you are hurting. God knows when you are burdened by the frustration and sorrows of this grinding life. God cares about you. God has sent His messengers to enlighten you about this life’s purpose so that your heart finds peace. God has sent Jesus (pbuh) as a messenger and after him, God has sent Muhammad (pbuh) to guide you, to prepare you for paradise.

From The Ones Who Found The Truth and Peace:

Aliyah Umm Raiyan: There has to be purpose behind the normal kind of daily grind of life. Look at a leaf. How intricately designed it is! Think, what is the purpose of it? If this leaf has a purpose, I am a part of this creation too... what is my purpose?
Ashley Belal: We have to learn to think. we get so caught up in living that we don’t think much about what we are living for. Religion shouldn’t be like an inheritance. We should search for the truth.
Arnoud van doorn: Do not listen to the media or politicians. Do your own research. You will find out in sha ALLAH islam is the solution, islam is the truth. (Former anti-islamic party politician from the Netherlands)
Joram Van Klaveren: I became much happier after I became muslim. I would like to invite everyone to become a muslim just because it brings peace to your soul, it brings peace to your heart. It is the truth. It resonates with heart and soul. (Former anti-islamic politician from the Netherlands)

Jesus in Islam

Muslims love Jesus (peace be upon him). We believe in his miraculous birth to the Virgin Mary, his miracles by God's permission, and his truthful message. He is one of the greatest prophets ever sent.

The Qur'an honours him in many verses and devotes an entire chapter to his mother, Mary (Maryam).

1. Salutation
Ayesha: Assalamu Ala Man Ittaba'al Huda. (Translation: Peace be upon those who follow the guidance.)
Mary: Wa Alaikum (Peace be upon you too).
Ayesha: How are you, sister?
Mary: By the grace of Jesus, I am fine. How are you?
Ayesha: Alhamdulillah, Allah has kept me well.
2. Similarities Between Christianity and Islam
Ayesha: Sister! We, Christians and Muslims, are the children of the same parents, Adam and Eve. There is no distinction between us. However, there is a misunderstanding among us. When we see a Christian, we try to stay away from them, and likewise, many Christians try to stay away from Muslims when they see them. But this is not right. Because it is not written on my forehead that I am a Muslim, nor is it written on yours that you are a Christian. If I cut my body, red blood comes out, and if your body is cut, red blood also comes out. Since there is no difference in the creation of you and me, it shows that there is no difference between the Creator of you and me. That our Creator is one.
Mary: Really? So, do you believe Jesus Christ is God?
Ayesha: No, sister. How can a human made of flesh and blood be the Creator? Tell me, can we create a human like ourselves if we want to? Can we bring peace to the society on our own?
Ayesha:

We believe Jesus Christ is a prophet and messenger of Allah. Allah has sent many prophets and messengers throughout time to guide people to the right path.

The number of prophets and messengers is countless, but four are considered the most famous and prominent. To guide humanity, Allah revealed great heavenly books to the messengers, similar to a constitution.

Each new messenger brought a new set of laws or constitution, and the previous one's laws were no longer accepted. For example, when Musa (PBUH) came, his followers were the Children of Israel. But when Isa (PBUH) came, everyone was required to follow Isa (PBUH).

Similarly, the constitution brought by Muhammad (PBUH) is the final one. After Muhammad (PBUH), no other messengers' laws will be accepted.

The four major messengers and the books revealed to them are:
  • Musa (PBUH) – Torah; his followers later became Jews, leaving the original teachings.
  • Dawood (PBUH) – Zabur.
  • Isa (PBUH) – Injil; his followers later became Christians, leaving the original teachings.
Christians refer to Isa (PBUH) as Jesus and have altered the Injil into the Bible.

The final prophet, Muhammad (PBUH) – Quran; after Muhammad (PBUH), all other religions were rendered invalid.

Anyone who does not believe in Jesus Christ as a prophet and messenger of Allah cannot be considered a Muslim in terms of belief.
Mary:

Wow! There are so many similarities between your religion and Christianity!
3. Crucifixion
Mary:

So, do you believe that Jesus was crucified?
Ayesha:

No, the Christian belief about the crucifixion of Jesus is completely wrong; let me explain the actual events.

Jesus Christ had 12 disciples, or Hawariyyun.

The twelve were:
  1. Peter (Saint Peter)
  2. Andrew
  3. James (brother of John)
  4. John
  5. Philip
  6. Bartholomew
  7. Thomas
  8. Matthew
  9. James (son of Alphaeus)
  10. Thaddeus
  11. Simon
  12. Judas (Iscariot)
Before the ascension (bodily raised up to heaven) of Jesus, Allah informed him:

"Soon you will depart from this world."

This made Jesus (peace be upon him) anxious. He then invited his disciples, the twelve Hawariyyun, to a meal at night and personally served them food.

Afterward, he asked them to pray to Allah to delay his ascension, but during the prayer, all the disciples fell asleep, and so the prayer could not be made.

Instead, Jesus (PBUH) prophesied:
“I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me three times before the rooster crows. One of you will tell my enemies where I am in exchange for a few coins and will take the money given for me.”
After this, everyone went back to their work.

Meanwhile, because Jesus (peace be upon him) had declared interest (usury) forbidden, the Jews were searching to kill him.

They caught a disciple named Simon and said: "You are a follower of Jesus."

But he denied it three times.

In the morning, another disciple named Judas went to the Jews and said: "If I tell you where Jesus is, what will you give me?"

The Jews gave him thirty coins, and in return, he told them where Jesus was.

But before this, Allah had punished Judas by making his face look like Jesus’ face.

So, instead of Jesus, they captured Judas and crucified him. The body remained on the cross for seven days. Meanwhile, Allah took Jesus up to heaven.

The next day, the Jews noticed that Judas, whom they knew, was missing. Then they realized they had not killed Jesus (peace be upon him) but had instead killed one of his disciples, Judas.
Mary:

Truly, I didn't know any of these things.
Ayesha:

On the other hand, the Bible never mentions that Jesus (PBUH) died by crucifixion. Moreover, if Jesus (PBUH) was indeed crucified, then why was Judas not found afterward?

If Jesus (PBUH) truly was crucified, this raises a big question. According to Christian belief, Jesus is the Son of God and a part of God. If that is the case, how could ordinary people kill a part of God?

It does not make sense that God could not protect Himself. How could such a weak God, who cannot protect Himself, save others?

The entire matter has been clarified in the Quran,

Surah An-Nisa (4:157)
"And [they] said, 'Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.' But they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except following of assumption. And they did not kill him for certain."

This clearly shows that Jesus (PBUH) was not crucified, and the people who believed otherwise were mistaken.
4. Christianity and Paulism
Ayesha: Do you know that the religion you follow is not the religion of Isa (PBUH) or Jesus?
Mary: How is that possible?
Ayesha:

Let me share a brief history with you.

From what we've learned earlier, it was actually Jesus' disciple, Judas, who was crucified. After Jesus (PBUH) was taken up, and Judas was crucified in his place, the remaining eleven disciples held on to the true faith.

However, the Jews, driven by enmity and the instigation of Satan, tried to completely destroy the true religion.

Among them, one of the most prominent was a Jew named Saul. He was a staunch enemy of Jesus and his disciples, and a firm opponent of their teachings.

He particularly tried to discredit the idea of Jesus' ascension and severely persecuted Jesus' followers.

But suddenly, Saul realized that he couldn't suppress Jesus' followers through persecution. So, he resorted to hypocrisy. He pretended to convert to Christianity and changed his name to "Paul".

Meanwhile, after Judas' crucifixion, the group of eleven disciples had a vacancy, which Paul took advantage of, and he became the twelfth disciple by joining the group.

(Luke 22:30, Matthew 10:1-4, Luke 6:13-16)

As someone who had been an enemy, Paul now became a "friend" and managed to change the teachings of Christianity to his own liking.

He altered the principles and teachings to fit his views. Thus, Christianity stopped being the religion of Jesus and became the religion of Paul.

Many Christian scholars have discussed this issue and stated that there was significant conflict between the original followers of Jesus and the followers of Paul.

Eventually, the religion of Jesus faded, and Paul's version triumphed.

Paul even clearly stated that he didn't receive his teachings from anyone, but instead created his own version of the Gospel.

(Timothy 2:8, Galatians 1:11-12)
Mary: What is the difference between the main teachings of Jesus Christ and Paul?
Ayesha:

The teachings of Jesus:
"If you break the law or the commandments even slightly, you will not enter paradise"
(Matthew 5:17-20, 7:24, 19:16, Luke 18:18)

The teachings of Paul:
"Salvation is through faith alone, and those who follow the law or commandments are cursed"
(Galatians 2:16, Romans 10:10, 3:28)

Sister, from these teachings, it's clear that the current form of Christianity has no real connection with the original teachings of Jesus.

Rather, the Christianity we see today is based on the teachings of Paul.
5. Trinity
Ayesha: Sister, do you know about the concept of the Trinity?
Mary: Yes, I know! The Trinity refers to the belief that God exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit, but all three are one in essence.
Ayesha: Sister, you believe in the three persons of God, but tell me this, if 1+1+1 equals 3, then how can 1+1+1 equal 1 in the Trinity?
Mary: Sister, the Trinity means the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three beings together make one.
Ayesha:

I am giving you a detailed explanation about the Trinity.

According to the Trinity, the "Father" refers to Allah. Jesus is called the "Son of God." Mary (A.S.) is considered the mother of God, and the "Holy Spirit" is described as God's spirit or the one who delivers God's message. This can also be understood as an angel.

In your religion, the Holy Spirit is often symbolized as a dove. However, you won't find anywhere in the Bible where Jesus himself claimed to be God or where people are told to worship him. This teaching primarily comes from Paul.

Questions About the Trinity

• If God is three persons, then what is their relationship with each other?

• Do they depend on each other?

• If they are equal, then is there any difference between them?

• According to Christian belief, one of the three gods was crucified and killed by ordinary people. Does this mean God is incomplete?
The idea of the Trinity did not exist in the early stages of Christianity, and it was intentionally established almost 300 years later.

Additionally, one group of Christians, the Protestants—who number about 920 million worldwide—do not believe in the Trinity.

The Qur'an clearly addresses this in Surah An-Nisa, Verse 171:
“O people of the Book, be not excessive in your Faith, and do not say about Allah anything but the truth. The Masih 'Isa, the son of Maryam, is only a Messenger of Allah, and His Word that He had delivered to Maryam, and a spirit from Him. So, believe in Allah and His Messengers. Do not say ‘Three’. Stop it. That is good for you. Allah is the only One God. He is far too pure to have a son. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. And Allah is enough to trust in.”
6. Division of Christians
Ayesha: Sister, do you know how many different groups there are among Christians?
Mary: What are you saying? As far as I know, there is only one group of Christians. We all follow Jesus.
Ayesha:

No, sister. There are hundreds of divisions among Christians. Some worship the statues of Jesus and Mary, while others strongly oppose it.

Let me introduce you to the three main groups of Christians:

1. Roman Catholic – Around 1.3 billion followers.

2. Orthodox or Conservative – Around 350 million followers.

3. Protestant – Around 920 million followers.

1. Catholic Christians:

It originated in the Vatican City, in Rome, Italy.

The place of Judas among the twelve disciples of Jesus was forcibly taken by a Jewish hypocrite, Saint Paul.

Paul is considered the first pope of the Catholic Church.

After Paul, popes were chosen from his descendants, and the pope in Vatican City is considered the sole leader for all Catholics worldwide.

His decisions are binding for all Catholic churches.

Catholics started making statues of Jesus and Mary to worship.

For the first 1000 years, the Catholic Church was entirely under the control of the pope.
2. Orthodox or Conservative:

Due to the pope's power, authoritarianism, and distortion of the religion, the Orthodox or conservative movement was born.

They believe that not only the pope but all church leaders should have equal authority.

They also worship statues, but only use them as symbols, not as sources of power.
3. Protestant:

Later, due to dissatisfaction with the pope's power and the distortion of the Catholic Church's teachings, especially the creation and worship of statues of Jesus and Mary, the Protestant Reformation movement began.

They believe the Bible is the sole source of authority, not the pope.

They do not believe in the Trinity.

They do not consider Jesus to be the Son of God and do not practice idol worship.
Mary: I didn't know anything about this before, sister.
Ayesha:

I hope now you understand that the religion practiced by present-day Christians is not actually the religion of Jesus.

Rather, it is a religion created by the popes for their own purposes, just like what the Hindu kings, rulers, and Brahmins did to Hinduism.

They made the religion according to their own will.
8. Tawheed
Ayesha: Sister, I have explained to you the concept of the Trinity in Christianity.

The Trinity essentially means three gods combining into one god, which denies the existence of Allah.

These ideas are not correct.
Mary: Do you have any evidence to support your statement?
Ayesha:

Yes, sister, of course. I will now present the truth to you from both the Quran and the Bible.

In the Holy Quran, Surah Ikhlas (Chapter 112) states:

1. “Qul Huwallahu Ahad” — Say, He is Allah, the One.

2. “Allahuṣ-Ṣamad” — Allah is the Eternal, Absolute. He neither depends on anyone, nor does anyone depend on Him.

3. “Lam Yalid Wa Lam Yulad” — He neither gives birth nor is He born.

4. “Wa Lam Yakun Lahu Kufuwan Ahad” — And there is none equal to Him.

This clearly establishes the Oneness of Allah, rejecting any concept of partners or equals.
This one Surah (chapter) describes all the qualities of the One true Lord.

The Lord cannot have a son or children.

The same is mentioned in the Bible:

1. Mark 12:29-30
“Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.”
2. Mark 12:28-32
“This is the most important: Listen, O Israel, the Lord our God is the one and only Lord.”
3. Matthew 4:10
“Away from me, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.”
4. 1 Timothy 6:16
“No one has ever seen God, nor can anyone see Him.”

These verses clearly emphasize the Oneness of God, aligning with the teachings of the Quran.

Ayesha:

Additionally, about Allah, it is mentioned in Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 255 (Ayatul Kursi):

"Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa, Al-Hayyul-Qayyum. La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm. Lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-ard. Man zallazi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-idhnihi. Translation:

"Allah! There is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence.

Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep.

To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.

Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His permission?

He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills.

His Kursi (Throne) extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not.

And He is the Most High, the Most Great."

This verse beautifully describes the greatness, power, and uniqueness of Allah, emphasizing that He is the only one worthy of worship, the All-Knowing, and the Sustainer of everything.

9. Shirk (Associating partners with Allah)
Ayesha: If you enter a church, you will see many statues of Jesus and Mary. However, this practice of idol worship was not present among early Christians.

Do you know about this?
Mary: I used to think that these practices (like idol worship) were part of Christianity from the very beginning.

After all, the churches today have many statues.

So, how did these practices originate?
Ayesha: The culture of statues was introduced primarily through Saint Paul and the subsequent generations of Popes.

One of the fundamental reasons why the Protestants broke away from the Roman Catholics was their opposition to the worship of statues of Jesus and Mary, which is against the teachings of the Bible.

The Holy Quran also contains many verses that address these misconceptions among Christians.

For example:

1.
"It is not befitting for Allah to take a son. Glory be to Him! When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is."
[Surah Maryam, 19:35]

2.
"O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion, nor say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah..."
[Surah An-Nisa, 4:171]

3.
"They have certainly disbelieved who say, 'Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary.'"
[Surah Al-Ma'idah, 5:17]

4.
"They have disbelieved who say, 'Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary,' while the Messiah himself said, 'O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.'"
[Surah Al-Ma'idah, 5:72]

5.
"They have certainly disbelieved who say, 'Allah is the third of three.' And there is no god except one God."
[Surah Al-Ma'idah, 5:73]

Regarding Shirk (associating partners with Allah), Allah says in:

Surah Al-Ma'idah, 5:72
"Indeed, whoever associates others with Allah, Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire."
These verses clearly emphasize the Oneness of Allah and warn against associating partners with Him, which is a great sin in Islam.
Mary: I see. Your religious scripture mentions so many things about our faith.

We need to find out whether our religious scriptures mention anything regarding this matter.
Ayesha: Yes, sister. Your religious scriptures also say the same thing.

In the Bible, it is mentioned:

1. Book of Deuteronomy, Chapter 5, Verse 7–9
"You shall have no other gods besides Me. You shall not make idols for worshipping, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God."

2. Exodus 22:20
"Whoever sacrifices to any god other than the Lord must be destroyed."

These verses emphasize the worship of One God and prohibit idol worship, which aligns with the teachings of Islam.
Mary: So! From both scriptures, we see that if anyone associates partners with Allah, He has prepared a severe punishment for them.
10. Risalat (Prophethood)
Ayesha: Not only that, sister. The fact that Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is the final and universal Prophet is also mentioned in various places in the Bible.
Mary: In the Bible? Where is it written like this?
Ayesha: I will explain this to you from several places in the Bible.

1. John 16:12-13
“I have much more to say to you, but you cannot bear it now. However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.”
Jesus himself instructed to follow the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

2. Book of Deuteronomy, Chapter 18, Verse 18
“I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put My words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command Him.”

3. Book of Isaiah, Chapter 29, Verse 12
“The book will be given to the one who is not learned, saying, ‘Read this, please,’ and he will say, ‘I am not learned.’”
We know that the first revelation sent to Muhammad (PBUH) was:
“Read in the name of your Lord who created.”
The Prophet (PBUH) replied:
“I do not know how to read.”
This exact statement was prophesied.

4. Gospel of John, Chapter 14, Verse 16
“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper.”
5. Gospel of John, Chapter 15, Verse 26
“When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, He will testify about Me.”
6. Gospel of John, Chapter 16, Verse 7
“But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.”
Now, the word "Helper" you find in today's Bible is "Paraclete," which is a corruption of the word "Periclyte." The word "Periclyte" means "the one who is praised" or "the praiseworthy." In Arabic, this translates to "Muhammad" (the praised one) or "Ahmad" (the one who praises). Alhamdulillah, both these names belong to Muhammad (PBUH).
Mary: You've shared so much from our religious scriptures, yet I had never studied any of this before. I never really thought about these things deeply.
Ayesha: Not only that, but if you think deeply, you will realize, sister, that both our and your religious scriptures mention these things in the same way.

Additionally, in Surah Al-A'raf, Ayat 158, Allah says that Muhammad (PBUH) is the Prophet for all people—Hindus, Muslims, and Christians alike:
“Say, 'O mankind, I am the Messenger of Allah to you all.'”

Watch this video for a detailed explanation about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the Bible.

11. Isa (Jesus, PBUH) will return to Earth again
Ayesha: You'll be surprised to know that the one you know as Jesus Christ, Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him), is currently in the 4th heaven.
Mary: Where did you find this?
Ayesha: During the Mi'raj (ascension) of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he met Hazrat Isa (PBUH).

When the Dajjal (Antichrist) appears during the time of the Mahdi (the final Caliph of the Muslims), Hazrat Isa (PBUH) will return to Earth.

However, he will not come as a Prophet but as a follower of Muhammad (PBUH).

It is mentioned in Sahih Muslim and Tirmidhi:
Narrated by Nawwas ibn Sam'an (RA), the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said about Dajjal:

"While Dajjal is causing chaos, Allah will send Hazrat Isa (PBUH) to Earth. He will descend near the white minaret in the eastern part of Damascus, with his hands resting on the shoulders of two angels. The breath of Isa (PBUH) will reach as far as his sight, and any disbeliever touched by his breath will die instantly. He will then chase Dajjal and kill him at the gates of Ludd."
Mary: This Ludd, where is it located?
Ayesha: The place called Ludd is located just a few miles away from Tel Aviv, in the modern state of Israel.
12. Isa (PBUH) will destroy the cross
Ayesha: Sister, did you know that Isa (PBUH) will return to Earth and destroy the cross?
Mary: Oh! What else will he do?
Ayesha: Hazrat Isa (PBUH), upon his return to Earth as a follower of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), will destroy the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the Jizya tax.
Mary: After that, will he stay on this Earth forever?
Ayesha: No, he will live on Earth for 40 years.

During that time, everyone in the world will become Muslim.

Finally, he will be buried next to the grave of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

A specific empty space has been reserved beside the Prophet's (PBUH) grave.

On the Day of Judgment, he will be resurrected immediately after the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Mary: All of this was unknown to me!!

There's so much to learn!
13. The Bible is not the original Injeel
Ayesha: Alright, do you know about your religious scripture, the Bible, and its different parts?
Mary: What do you mean by the different parts of the Bible?
Ayesha: Allah did not reveal any book named "Bible". This name is a human invention.

The Bible that is currently available is divided into two main parts:
  1. Old Testament
  2. New Testament
The Old Testament contains stories from Adam (AS) to Musa (AS), written by four Christian scholars—Saint Matthew, Saint Mark, Saint Luke, and Saint John—in their own way.

This is why Jews never accept the Old Testament as their religious scripture. Their religious scripture is the Talmud.

In the New Testament, the same four scholars have recorded the teachings of Isa (AS) in a distorted manner, according to their own interpretations.

Therefore, the current Bible is not the original Injeel (Gospel) mentioned in Islam.
Mary: I had no idea about this. Is there any similarity between the Bible and your religious scripture?
Ayesha: There are many similarities between the Quran and the Bible in some aspects.

The Gospel of Barnabas, which is a version of the Bible, is considered by many Islamic scholars to be 80% consistent with the original Injeel.

However, the Roman Catholic Church has banned the Gospel of Barnabas because if people follow it, the man-made religion created by the Popes will not survive.
Mary: Okay, can you tell me what the religious logo of Christians is and what the religious logo of Muslims is?
Ayesha: Yes. The religious logo of Christians is the cross.

And the logo of Muslims usually includes the crescent moon, star, minaret, etc.
Ayesha: Then you tell me, the logo used in this book—the mosque's dome—is it the logo of Muslims or Christians?
Mary: It seems like the Muslim logo has been used.
Ayesha: Christians essentially use the Muslim logo and promote the Bible in the name of the Injeel (Gospel), deceiving Muslims.
Ayesha: Looking at the Bible and history, we see that earlier scriptures were not preserved properly, so they became full of mistakes, contradictions, and changes.

Some even disappeared completely.

For example, the Torah is an accepted book in the Bible.

The Ten Commandments of the Torah were written on two stone tablets and kept in a locked ark, as Musa (AS) instructed, and were read every seven years (Deuteronomy 31:10–11).

The Torah was placed beside the ark (Deuteronomy 31:26).

Some Bible experts say the Torah was kept in the ark for safekeeping.

But later, only the two stone tablets were found in the ark; nothing else remained (1 Kings 8:9).

Without proper guidance, the Jewish people turned to idol worship even before the time of Sulaiman (AS) (Judges 2:11–13).

Also, the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar (586 BCE) and the Greek ruler Antiochus IV (175–163 BCE) killed many people and destroyed Jewish religion, temples, and scriptures.

Because of this, the Jews could not preserve the Torah of Musa (AS) to this day.

As for the New Testament, everyone agrees these books are not the true Injeel (Gospel).

Instead, they are biographies of the Prophet filled with mistakes, written by unknown people after Isa (AS), along with letters and sermons by people like Saint Paul.

If someone claims these are divine, they must accept that these unknown writers were prophets or messengers after Jesus.

This means modern Christians follow these people, not Jesus himself.
Mary: Exactly!
Ayesha: The Bible, created by humans, is full of errors.

There are over 100 mistakes in the Bible, which can easily be found by searching the internet.

For example:

In 2 Kings 8:26, 2 Chronicles 21:20, and 2 Chronicles 22:1–2, it is written:

King Jehoram dies at the age of 40, and then his younger son Ahaziah becomes king.

When he becomes king, he is 42 years old.

This means the son is two years older than his father.

Can such a mistake-filled statement ever be the word of God?
Ayesha: Additionally, your Bible has different versions like 1st, 2nd, and so on.

Can the word of God have different versions?
Mary: This is truly something to think about.
Ayesha: The Bible contains the biography of Isa al-Masih (Jesus Christ).

Can someone's biography be the word of Allah?
Mary: No. That cannot be.
14. Original Sin
Ayesha: Do you know that even though you were born sinless, you are considered a sinner by birth?
Mary: What are you saying? What sin have I committed?
Ayesha: Adam and Hawwa (Eve, peace be upon them) were the first man and woman. They were in Jannah (Paradise), but Satan deceived Hawwa (AS) into eating the fruit of a forbidden tree.

As a result, Allah became displeased and sent Adam and Hawwa (AS) to two different places on Earth.

This event is called Original Sin in Christian belief.
Mary: But Jesus, by being crucified, has already forgiven everyone for this Original Sin.
Ayesha: This idea is completely wrong. Let me explain the correct story to you.

Allah forgave Adam and Hawwa (AS) for their unintentional mistake because they sincerely repented.

After forgiving them, Allah reunited them in the field of Arafat.

To commemorate this historical event of forgiveness, Allah made it obligatory for Hajj pilgrims to gather at Arafat on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah.

On that day, the prayers of those present at Arafat are accepted, just like the prayers of Adam and Hawwa (AS).

On the other hand, Christians believe that you can commit as many sins as you want, but you won't go to Hell.

If you just believe that Jesus was crucified and he died for your sins, you will go to Heaven!

This is completely baseless.

How can someone bear the sins of another person without being directly or indirectly involved?
Mary: But if Jesus being crucified atones for all our sins, then what's the problem?
Ayesha: The problem is here:

Imagine I kill your parents.

Would you demand punishment for me?

But Jesus has already atoned for my sin.

According to this, I am sinless.
Mary: How is that possible?

15. Jesus is for the people of Israel only, Islam is for the entire world
Ayesha: Sister, if you believe in the Bible, you cannot stay in this country.
Mary: Why?
Ayesha: Jesus himself said:
"I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel."
(Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 15, Verse 24)
He came to Earth only for the Jews, meaning the Israelites, not for all of humanity.

Additionally, it is mentioned:

Matthew 15:24
"I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel."
Matthew 10:5-6
"Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel."
So, if you believe in Jesus, you must go to Israel.

You cannot stay in this country and follow Christianity.
Mary: Oh! I see.
Ayesha: On the other hand, Muhammad (PBUH) was sent for the entire world.

The Holy Quran mentions, addressing Muhammad (PBUH):
"We have sent you (O Prophet) as a mercy for the whole world."
(Surah Al-Anbiya, 21:107)
16. The Test of the Bible
Ayesha: Sister, if you believe in the Bible, you must take a test.
Mary: What test?
Ayesha: According to Mark 16:17-18, those who truly believe in Jesus will have these signs:
  1. They will drive out demons in Jesus' name.
  2. They will speak in new tongues (foreign languages).
  3. They will pick up snakes with their hands.
  4. They will drink poison, but it will not harm them.
  5. They will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.
Can you do these things?
Mary: No. How can I do this? Since my faith has not been that strong.
Ayesha: Matthew 17:20 says:
“For truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed and you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Since there is no mountain in front of us, you can at least move this tree from here to there. If you truly follow the Bible, you should be able to do this. Without passing this test, no one can be a true believer of the Bible.
17. Christmas or Christmas Day
Ayesha: Do you know where your Christmas festival originated from?
Mary: Yes. That day is the birthday of Jesus Christ.
Ayesha: No, sister, this information is incorrect. Let me tell you the correct facts. The Greek-Roman idol worshippers, who were called pagans, celebrated Christmas long before the birth of Jesus. At the end of December, they held grand festivals in honor of Saturn, the god of harvest, and Mithra, the sun god. Additionally, the birthday of the sun god Mithra was on December 25th. For this reason, they considered December 25th to be the most sacred day of the year and celebrated Mithra's birthday through nature worship. The Roman popes began celebrating this day following the traditions of the pagans. Finally, about 400 years after Jesus (PBUH) ascended to heaven, the Roman Church officially recognized December 25th as the birthday of Jesus.
Mary: But I have known since childhood that it was the birthday of Jesus Christ.
Ayesha: There is no documented evidence anywhere that Jesus was born on December 25th. According to the Quranic description of Jesus' birth, ripe dates were present on the trees at the time of his birth. Dates ripen during the summer season. Christian researchers also state that shepherds were grazing sheep outside at night, which generally occurs during warmer seasons. Therefore, many researchers conclude that Jesus was not born during winter. Additionally, Christian researchers agree that for the first 300 years after Jesus, no Christians celebrated his birthday.
Ayesha: Two major symbols of Christmas are the Christmas tree and Santa Claus. Both traditions have roots in ancient pagan customs. Ancient people believed the evergreen fir tree possessed special powers because it survived harsh winters. Over time this tradition evolved into the Christmas tree. During the Middle Ages, some Christian groups even opposed Christmas celebrations because they believed pagan practices had entered Christianity through it.
Ayesha: Christians around the world believe that Santa Claus visits homes and leaves gifts for children. Santa Claus is commonly associated with Saint Nicholas and later cultural traditions that developed in Europe. For more detailed information on this topic, you can watch the video provided below.
18. Halloween
Mary: By the way, do you know anything about our Halloween festival? I've heard many people have different opinions about it.
Ayesha: Yes, I'll give you information about this festival. Halloween originated from ancient European traditions associated with the end of harvest season and beliefs regarding spirits of the dead. Many historians connect it with ancient Celtic festivals. People used costumes, masks, bonfires, and various customs that later evolved into the modern Halloween celebration. Today, Halloween is celebrated in different ways around the world. However, some Christians reject the festival and do not participate in it because of its historical and religious associations. 19. Thousands of Christians Converting to Islam
Ayesha: Whenever someone has researched Christianity and Islam, the light of Islam has entered their heart. Millions of Christians around the world have recognized the truth of Islam and embraced it.
Mary: Really? Do you have any examples of such incidents?
Ayesha: Such incidents have happened countless times, sister. I will mention a few recent cases of people converting to Islam. If I were to go into detail about all of them, it would fill a thick book.
Ayesha: Sue Watson to Khadija Watson

The famous Christian preacher Sue Watson from California, USA, was a staunch Christian evangelist. While pursuing a PhD in theology, she converted to Islam. After embracing Islam, Sue Watson changed her name to Khadija Watson.
Ayesha: Hilarion Heagy to Abdul Latif

Father Hilarion Heagy, a top priest in the United States, converted to Islam. After accepting Islam, Heagy renamed himself Abdul Latif.

"My conversion to Islam is like coming back to Islam. It feels as though I have returned to my own home."
When Searching for the Enemy, He Found Enlightenment
Ayesha: Sami Fernandez was a Christian priest.

He shared that after completing his university studies, he received training in Christian evangelism. Later, he was assigned to preach in the Muslim-majority regions of southern Philippines.

Regarding this, Sami said:

"To write about Islamic philosophy, I began collecting books on Islam and its Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him). During my university studies, I learned that to defeat an enemy, you must know everything about them."

As he began to understand Islam, which he initially saw as an "enemy," he became illuminated by the light of Islam.

On this matter, Sami stated:

"If someone wants to truly understand the holy religion of Islam, they cannot rely solely on non-Muslim sources to determine whether it is the true or pure religion. However, a truth-seeking individual can learn the truth by engaging with Muslims and reading their books."
Mary: It seems many have converted from Christianity to Islam.
When the Church Became a Mosque
Ayesha: Charles Okawani, a Christian priest from Kenya's Western Province, embraced Islam after beginning to study it in the same way.

He then converted his workplace, the "Ohye Elahi" church, into a mosque.

After converting, Charles Okawani changed his name to Ismail Okawani.
Popular South African Christian Pastor Ibrahim Richmond and His 10,000 Followers Embrace Islam
Ayesha: In 2023, during his Hajj pilgrimage, the newly converted Muslim, Ibrahim, was seen stepping out of a vehicle near Jabal al-Noor (the Mountain of Light), where the Cave of Hira is located.

Dressed in Ihram, he prostrated in gratitude, visibly overwhelmed with joy.
Ayesha: In an interview, he shared his remarkable journey:

"For 15 years, I was a pastor at a Congregational Church in South Africa, serving over a million followers. One day, while sleeping in a small room at the church, I dreamt that someone was calling me, instructing me to tell my followers to wear white garments. I asked, 'Like Muslims?' The person replied, 'Yes.' I woke up, dismissing it as just a dream."
But no! The dream recurred several times, each time with the same message.

Each time, I consoled myself that it was merely a dream. However, the final call was so powerful that all my doubts vanished.

I realized it was a divine command for me and my followers to embrace Islam. I began studying Islam and resolved to fulfill the message from my dream. On the appointed day, I stood before my congregation and shared the message I had received in my dream.
Ayesha: He continued:
"Do you know how Allah made it easy for us? On the next gathering, they all came to the church dressed in white from head to toe. Together, we recited the Shahadah and embraced Islam."
Overwhelmed with emotion, he added:
"Exactly three months ago, I recited the Shahadah in the church, and the entire building echoed with the voices of thousands of people reciting it with me. We were all filled with joy and felt incredibly blessed."
Ayesha: Reflecting on his journey of embracing Islam, performing Hajj, and climbing Jabal al-Noor, he expressed his gratitude:
"Allah has given me this opportunity now. I might not get such an opportunity later."
He moved to tears while listening to the Quranic verse:
"Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things."
(Surah An-Nur, Ayah 35)
The video of his interview is so touching that it is hard to hold back tears.

The Christian King Najashi’s Acceptance of Islam
Ayesha: A group of companions migrated to Abyssinia (modern-day Ethiopia) to escape persecution in Mecca.

The king of Abyssinia, Najashi, was a Christian, but he was known for his fairness, wisdom, and open-mindedness.

A few days later, the polytheists of Mecca sent a complaint to King Najashi, accusing the Muslims of abandoning the religion of their ancestors and not adopting the king's religion despite seeking refuge in his land.
Ayesha: Upon hearing this, King Najashi summoned the Muslims.

He asked Hazrat Ja'far ibn Abi Talib (RA):
“What is your view about Jesus (AS) and his mother?”
Ja'far replied:
“We have learned from Allah and His Messenger (SAW) that Jesus (AS) is the servant and messenger of Allah. His mother, Maryam, was a chaste and pious woman, held in high esteem by Allah. Jesus (AS) was born to Maryam, a virgin, by the command and special decree of Allah.”
Upon hearing this, King Najashi picked up a straw and said:
“By Allah, what you have said about Jesus (AS) does not exceed the length of this straw.”
The priests present also nodded in agreement.
Ayesha: Najashi then asked:
“Can you recite something of what has been revealed to you?”
Ja'far (RA) recited verses 1–36 from Surah Maryam (Chapter 19 of the Quran).

As he recited, King Najashi and the Christian scholars present in the court were moved to tears, their eyes streaming with emotion.

I am certain that even you, upon hearing the recitation in Arabic, will find it hard to hold back your tears.

After this, many of those present recognized the truth of Islam and embraced the faith.

Even King Najashi, deeply moved by the beauty and truth of Islam, later accepted Islam.
Ayesha: Surah Maryam (19:16–36)

“And mention in the Book, O Prophet, the story of Mary when she withdrew from her family to a place in the east...” (19:16)
“He responded, I am only a messenger from your Lord, sent to bless you with a pure son.” (19:19)
“Jesus declared, I am truly a servant of Allah. He has destined me to be given the Scripture and to be a prophet.” (19:30)
“Jesus also declared, Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him alone. This is the Straight Path.” (19:36)

20. The Hereafter (Akhirah)
Ayesha: After death, we will all reside in the dark grave, where angels will come to question us. If we do not acknowledge Allah as One and Muhammad (PBUH) as His Messenger, our punishment will begin right in the grave. Those who do not accept Islam as their religion will feel such deep regret on the Day of Judgment that some will bite their hands in despair. The disbelievers will cry out, wishing they had recited the Kalima (declaration of faith) just once, so they wouldn’t be in such a state. On that day, people will see all their good and bad deeds from their worldly life.
Mary: What will be the fate of those who did not follow Islam?
Ayesha: Those who did not follow Islam will be thrown into the fire of Hell. When they feel intense thirst in the fire of Hell, they will be given boiling water to drink and thorny fruits to eat, which will tear apart their intestines. Then, they will be healed instantly, only to be punished again. This cycle will continue forever. The disbelievers will never die. However, Muslims who committed sins will suffer for some time and then be allowed to enter Paradise.
Mary: What is Paradise, exactly?
Ayesha: Paradise is a gift for humans. It is prepared only for those who follow Islam. In Paradise, there will be endless blessings and rewards beyond human imagination. There will be rivers of milk and rivers of honey. If someone imagines eating the meat of a bird flying in the sky, it will instantly be cooked and served to them. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) will recite Surah Yasin for the people of Paradise, and Allah Himself will recite Surah Ar-Rahman. How beautiful that scene will be!

This is why no religion other than Islam will ever be acceptable. All other religions are man-made, while Islam is the only true religion.

Allah says in the Quran:
“Indeed, the only religion acceptable to Allah is Islam.”
[Surah Al-Imran, 3:19]
“Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from them, and in the Hereafter, they will be among the losers.”
[Surah Al-Imran, 3:85]
21. Accepting Islam
Ayesha: Do you know what punishment someone might face if they follow the constitution of Pakistan or the British Empire instead of the current constitution of independent Bangladesh?
Mary: Their punishment would be for treason.
Ayesha: You’re absolutely right. Similarly, although we accept Adam (AS), Musa (AS), and Isa (AS) as prophets, after the final Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH), came to Earth, no other prophet’s book or way of life can be followed. Until the Day of Judgment, no new religion will be acceptable to Allah. Islam is the final and ultimate religion.
Mary: Really? I didn’t know about this.
Ayesha: Yes, that’s correct. Muhammad (PBUH) is the Prophet for me, you, and everyone.

Allah says in the Quran:
“Say, [O Muhammad], ‘O mankind, indeed I am the Messenger of Allah to you all.’”
[Surah Al-A‘raf, 7:158]
Mary: I’ve been living in error all this time. Thank you so much for explaining the words of God so beautifully. I will return to the true religion very soon.
Ayesha: Sister, don’t delay in accepting the truth. Whoever declares the Kalima (declaration of faith) will surely enter Paradise. If you become a Muslim, I gain nothing worldly. I never want my dear friend to suffer in the fire of Hell for billions of years. I want to be in Paradise with my dear friend. Recite the Kalima with me, sister. Accept Islam. This way, you will achieve success in both this life and the Hereafter.
Mary: Alright, teach me the Kalima.
Ayesha: Do you believe that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad (PBUH) is the Messenger of Allah sent for all humanity?
Mary: Yes, I believe.
Ayesha: Then repeat after me:
Ashhadu alla ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharika lahu, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluh.
Meaning:
“I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone without any partners, and I bear witness that Muhammad (PBUH) is His servant and Messenger.”
Mary: Yes, of course. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the One with no partners, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.
Ayesha: Alhamdulillah. From today, you are a Muslim. Your Muslim name is Maryam. You too have the same task, to spread this absolute truth to others.
Maryam: Sister, please pray for me that Allah guides me, my parents, and everyone to the light of Islam.

Common Questions

Is this peace the same as what Jesus spoke about?

Jesus (peace be upon him) called people to love God with all their heart. Islam echoes that same call — wholehearted devotion to the one God.

Do I have to leave everything I love?

No. You are invited to keep every truth you already hold and to see it completed.

Finding Peace That Lasts

Every heart is searching for peace. Wealth, success, and relationships bring moments of joy, yet the restlessness returns. Islam teaches that the soul finds its true rest only in remembering its Creator.

The very word Islam comes from the same root as salaam — peace. To submit willingly to the one loving God is to come home.

A Message of Love to Brothers and Sisters:

Dear Brother,

I hope this message finds you well. You are a kind and good-hearted person, and I hold great respect and affection for you. As your well-wisher, I want to share some important messages for your well-being and benefit messages that you may not yet be aware of.

Dear Brother, do you know why we have come to this world? Where were we before this life? And where will we go after death? I would like to share the answers to these profound questions with you.

Just as every object has a master, we too have a Creator—the One who nurtured us in our mother’s womb and continues to sustain us every day. After death, we will return to Him. He is Allah, the Almighty.

We have a misconception about Allah, thinking He is the God of Muslims or their deity. But the truth is, He is the God of all people. He says: “O mankind! Worship your Lord, who created you and those before you.” (Al-Quran, Surah Baqarah-21)

Our great Creator, Allah, loves His servants very much. So that His servants do not go astray and forget Him, He has sent prophets and messengers throughout the ages. In this sequence, He sent the last prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him). He is the prophet for all people, not just Muslims, but for you too. Allah says: “Say, O mankind! I am the Messenger of Allah to you all.” (Surah Araf 158)

Here, Allah addresses all people, and since you are a human, He is your prophet too. To be saved from eternal hell after death, you must follow this prophet and adhere to his teachings. Brother! I urge you to believe in this prophet.

So that we can fully obey Allah, He has sent us a message through Muhammad (peace be upon him), a way of life, which is the Quran. There is no doubt in this book. Knowing and following the Quran is as necessary for you as it is for me. Therefore, I invite you to read, understand, and act upon the Quran, considering it the word of your Creator.

Dear Brother and Sister! I am revealing another truth to you, which is our religion. The religion of all people, including you and me, is Islam. Islam is the religion given by Allah. The only religion that has come from Allah is Islam. No other religion is acceptable to Allah except Islam.

Allah says: “Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.” (Surah Al-Imran-21)

Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him. (Surah Al-Imran-85)

Therefore, as your well-wisher, I invite you to accept Islam and be saved from eternal hell after death.

Where is my destination? This world is not my true abode. The true abode is Paradise. We have to leave this temporary world and go to the hereafter forever. After death, we must return to Allah. He will tell us what we have done in this world. If we can accept Islam, we will attain eternal happiness in Paradise. Otherwise, we will fall into the place of eternal suffering and punishment, Hell.

Every person wants peace. Due to not knowing the path to peace, we are walking on the path of unrest. But we are not finding peace. The path to peace is Islam.

As your well-wishing brother, I invite you to accept Islam and choose the path of peace and salvation. The method of accepting Islam is to believe from the heart that there is no deity but Allah, and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah. Islam is the true religion, and after death, we must return to Allah. Acknowledge this with your mouth.

“Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh.”

I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah. I also bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the servant and Messenger of Allah.

By sincerely believing and reciting these words, you will become a Muslim. The benefit is that all your past sins will be forgiven. Hoping to hear the good news of your acceptance of Islam.

The Heart of the Message

From Adam to Abraham, from Moses to Jesus, and finally to Muhammad (peace be upon them all), the message was one: there is only one God, worthy of all worship.
